When life gives you lemons

I've always been a sucker for good stationary. There is nothing more satisfying than finishing a notebook and starting a new one. I've been writing in journals for years now and I get through them quite quickly. I use them to record thoughts and ideas, do sketches and make lists. Personally, I find journalling quite cathartic. If your mind is busy and overflowing, writing things down can help you make sense out of the chaos, and it's nice to have a record of any creative ideas too!

Kate Spade is my current go to for stationary. My previous journal was the yellow canvas 'A likely Story' one. I loved the colour and the signature gold lettering; however the fact that it was canvas made it more prone to wear and tear than your average hardback. Two things that you're promised with Kate Spade journals though, are thickness and multiple bookmarks. This becomes incredibly handy!
I bought the Initial 'C' Journal as a replacement; picking up one for my friend Lucy because I know she'd like it as much as I do. I love the initial range, each letter is a different colour, they're bright and colourful and I particuarly like the personalisation. I also picked up a notebook from their new collection which reads 'If Life gives you lemons make limoncello'. I mentioned in my last post that I'm going to Limone in September, and anything lemon related gets me all excited for it; so this purchase was a must!
