Summer '17 bag favourites

I've always been a handbag person. The first bag that I remember having, loving and carrying everything around in was a red velvet cross body number; with Minnie Mouse embroidered on the front. Thankfully my bag collection has grown quite vastly since then. I've always found that I tend to 'accidentally' buy new bags but accessories should never be overlooked as they can really pull an outfit together.

During summer in particular, I always tend to ditch the big tote/bucket bags that I've been hoarding everything into, In replacement of a smaller, lighter and brighter model. With the weather getting a little warmer and days getting a little longer; I've put together some of the best bags around to purchase in time for summer:

(From top left to bottom right:)

The Pinks:
This suede cross body is part of H&M's premium range however this doesn't make this bag overtly expensive. In a pale minky pink this bag is definitely the most wearable and the fact that it's suede means that it's going to be durable and long lasting too.
Kate Spade is one of my favourite brands because they always create really beautiful novelty pieces and are quick to add new collections. When I was last in their store however I saw this more every-day bright and summery bag, which is part of a range which has been inspired by the directors recent trip to Morocco.
Mulberry bags are the epitomy of luxury, and the Darley is no exception. The buttery leather crossbody is in a pastel pink macaroon shade, this is a bag that can be used summer after summer.

The fruitys:
This beautiful Dolce bag is obviously the most expensive bag up here, but the reason I've included it anyway is because I am in love with the lemon print. This summer I'm off to Lake Garda and I'll be staying near Limone where all the lemons grow. I went to Venice last year with my boyfriend Sam and am dying to be back on Italian soil- this just reminds me of the trip to come.
Fruity bags are an obvious trend this summer. I particularly like this banana clutch because it's incredibly fun and would look fabulous with a white sun dress.
This bag has a very similar print as the Dolce bag, except that it's oranges you see and not lemons. This bag is the more affordable option and if i'm honest I prefer the fact that it's a smaller cross body because always carry near to nothing in the summer or when I'm on holiday.

The Palms:
Priced at £19.99, this is the cheapest bag shown- however this does not mean it has fault in any way. The bag appears surprisingly roomy, the fact that the inside doesn't have sections means you could probably throw quite a lot in. I love the palm print; palm and botanical prints are prints that i'll never stop loving which makes this cross body high on my 'To Buy' list.
Lastly is this novelty palm bag by Charlotte Olympia. Again, I love palms and I think the way this bag has incorporated it as the flap is incredibly clever. Plus the little frog is very very cute!
